Yellowish Muscus Prior To Menstruation

delighted the great treasure hidden under

Suddenly he let go the string and watched four movies in three days. True, much as I did sit to see one, so I felt no embarrassment. In these few days I caught "Big Fish", "The Lives of Others", "Planet Terror" and the star of today's post "Jackie Brown" . This film was directed by one of my favorites, Mr. Quentin Tarantino in 1997. starred Pam Grier , Samuel L. Jackson , Robert De Niro and Robert Foster, among others.

For me, both "Jackie Brown" as "Reservoir Dogs" were films with which he was indebted ... I have still owe it to the second. Perhaps blinded by the brilliance of his most famous films - "Pulp Fiction" and "Kill Bill" - never too near this production tarantinesca. Big mistake. "Jackie Brown" meets the movie's premise tarantinesco : "gonna get" . I do not know if it's technique used to film, how it fits history, the argument same or what, but whenever I see something done for him staying on hold by the two-hour average ... and time just flies ... That's a good sign. In short, once the film could not believe how he had left unnoticed many years .... and I retracted a bit. Has been covered under the shadow of other works that have achieved a lot more prestige or recognition, but this is not far behind ....

I'll tell you a little history, to see if I caught and hand to her, heh. The story is set in the nineties and basically unfolds in three characters , giving each its optical the facts (we are aided by the chambers of Tarantino, who repeat the plot depending on your character). The first is the arms dealer , Ordell Robbie (Jackson). The second is the famous Jackie Brown (Grier), a an airline stewardess fourth in charge of drug trafficking and money for his "boss" Ordell. The third character enters the story as such a moment after all unfolds: the bondsman, Max Cherry (Foster). Robbie
as a good trader, is surrounded of thugs that give the security required your business to survive, so it has a whole fleet of thieves middling to help you trade, keep, kill, etc. When one of them falls on the police resorts to the bail bondsman Max Cherry to ask them out on bail (according to him, because distrust of a black man who came with money in cash, but not a target with the Above silver ...). Once outside, make them disappear , that will not break and end up betraying. That luck runs Beaumont Livingston (Chris Tucker ), and the next to fall prey is Jackie Brown. The police, who had been tracking for some time Robbie, offers treatment: she confesses who brought him the money he found him in the bag (with cocaine) and was saved to go to prison. Treated very seductive, no? Well, while it bore the death threat from Ordell.
Thanks to what I think, is strength of this woman in her forties, helpless and almost unemployed, was saved from Ordell subjecting herself with a stolen weapon. Manage to establish a parallel treatment officer: she confessed all, going to prison a year, but Ordell Robbie was paid $ 100,000 for that service ... not bad, right? Robin agrees and begins to assemble the plan.
But beware, there is a third to cover the backs Brown. There are federal agents, but the bail bondsman Max Cherry (which, let's say, means that fell in love with the brunette just saw ...). We agree that trust is no gangster, not handled with these codes: working with the survival of the fittest the violence, the betrayal ... Bue, which is why Jackie did not put its fate in the hands of the person who once had then had betrayed tried to kill ... third-conspires a simultaneous plan the other two, but that relieved. In other words, everything that happened with that deal would define the other two as invalid.

Well, almost the entire film (which lasts about two hours) is about showing the deployment of these three parallel poyecto will not meet until near the end of the film. why we were so expectant , because not only want to know what all is true, but because Quentin hardly hints about what will happen ... In other words, you do not know which of the three plans which handles well, or translated another way: who is deceiving Jackie Brown. Play with the lack of the characters and the viewers themselves. You have to get literally the last scene so that everything is triggered.

Because that is what the film, the suspense and expectations, I'll close here. Les recommend the film, is a 4 (-) Clare and I think there could be a little higher too ... The performances are great, starting with Grier and Foster. Both characters embody very cold, almost immutable with a shell to start working off the situations listed (one of the best moments, when Ordell intimate with a gun to Cherry in the car, before meeting Jackie), but without forgetting its human side, more sensitive ... That contrast the two subjects makes terrestrial with feelings and elevates the level of human strength face of adversity: I liked a lot. Then there are Samuel L. Jackson and Robert De Niro, which I like too .. pity that De Niro does not look almost nothing: it has little dialogue and very poor.
Well, what about Quentin ... Me I find it difficult to speak with greater objectivity of Quentin Tarantino, because I am a declared fan of its aesthetics, so it is difficult to convey an image they finished it, including their mistakes. Would have to start with what defines their stories: "you do not know what the bad guy, because they are all shady characters." Here Quentin applied again to the class B film, black film ... that powerfully attracts him "underworld" (and I say so because it is very clear discrimination in the U.S. who had to create a genre they belong to African Americans ...) and played music in the key funk & soul. But if there is to be specific, the cult that pays for this film is the blaxplotation film, a subgenre of the seventies which depicted the world of drugs, crime and prostitution in the black community, featuring 100 films % by blacks. Here I is the soundtrack to hear what it is.
