Avec une petite aide

I remember when this film premiered. Bah, at least what I remember is the promotional poster . Call it hypnosis, cautivación spontaneous or intrigue, the thing is that it was automatic: "I want to see Amélie" . So today I will talk about "Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain" , better known in this part of the planet as "Amélie" simply.

do not know if they know, but every time I write something on the blog, I often do a little work "research" (and the term is too big for me) to review other views, opinions and data which can accompany the theme. But, I usually read them after I finished writing Why? To not feel tempted to use foreign words or completing my review based on one previously said. With "Amélie" not only proceeded in the same way, but I must say that I saw just now, nine years after it was released in theaters. In other words, completely unaware film criticism, demases public and when to see it (though I must say I was always outside when empezanban conversaicones "ah, it's like Amélie .. see it?" ). I add something I did not know what it was. Already, there are times when I prefer not to see the progress of a film, but in this particular case helped me to understand the characters outside of the established concepts. So I approached "Amelie" ... and here are the results.

"Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain" is a French film, released in 2001 and directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet . The absolute protagonist (and, from now on, star French) is the adorable Audrey Tatou and his partner is male Mathieu Kassovitz. The film revels counting networks established between the characters in the life of Amélie, so there is a significant number of actors in the film. A history!

The film begins with a voiceover that obsessively detailed account features characteristic essential character Amélie's life, beginning with their parents. Father army doctor, retired, devotes his life to order; undemonstrative with his daughter. Mother teacher; nerve-wracking, obsessed with cleanliness. Amélie Poulain, daughter of Raphael and Amanda; need of parental affection, his heart throbbed whenever he was coming ... and that only happened when I was a medical checkup. Result: "the girl has a heart" . Amélie will not school and stays home to study with the hysterical mother. The girl has no friends, so he invents . His only friend is not imaginary was a fish with suicidal ideation, that the mother ends up throwing the river to avoid the nerves that caused the constant attempts to autorun this little fish. In short: Amélie was removed from the community, reatraída on itself and surrounded by a little warm environment. And if it lacked some seasoning, it had to be the tragic component: the mother dies crushed by a Canadian tourist who commits suicide by jumping from the top of the church of Notre Dame. The child grows (with all this that I just named) in a house inhabited by a father who not recorded and that all they do is decorate the altar of his dead wife ... Still, Amélie Poulain, in this fiction as "free of evils" , Comes to life as any neighbor's daughter .... but with a little more imagination others. She decides to stand in his world of dreams until you can go from there. And it does at age 22, when he goes to live alone to Montemartre. Let us quote from the movie, which states that Amélie has taken a liking for small everyday pleasures, to be put on display throughout the film.

Advancement the part where the voiceover speaks of the coffee co-workers where he makes as a waitress, and customers who live there. Step to the narrative account as a key moment : Amélie found by chance (after an incident while brushing his teeth and learns of the death of Lady Di) a hidden box between the tiles containing the treasures of a child of the 50s. Here begins what is perhaps the first action of a long chain of small favors that Poulain done to make happier subjects around it.

Thus, resolves cases in a very peculiar, often resorting to the anonymous and innocent game. Until one day touch the doors of consciousness desire: what did she do for herself? De Thus, begins to focus on what we disclose: his love for the mysterious man in the photos , Quincampoix Nino (Kassovitz).

This is basically the plot of the movie. The nearly two hours that are devoted to telling how every time he intervenes Amélie change the course of things . Reunions, loving unions, demystification, travel and regrets in the lives of several players who will be changed from that time onwards.

To me, what I call the attention of the movie is the character itself because arising from an unwelcoming environment , all against him and in the altruism their way of life. In other words, a person who is outside of any help, turns out to be agents of change in those around her. But suddenly I am amazed that your situation has a 180 degree turn to reconnect with themselves, with the girl you need, expect and get help.
The film, seen from the voice that tells you probably also telling the story of Amélie all ... and all those who let pass opportunities, or would an d back to their wishes and live their lives as mere spectators.
In this world of possibilities, we are all Amélie so nothing better than to play with fate and dare to push the limits of our own wall.

Audrey Tautou embodies this character endearing, lovable and easily provides equal installments of goodness and simplicity, with a few drops of mischief. What about the cast that accompanies it ... they are French, nothing I say will be misunderstood or criticized, have the advantage of a beautiful language and a landscape that is a dream. To this I add the images of the film (which should have been done with some sort of yellow filter ... do not know the technical terms) and the quality of the picture.

Finally, a pop gem, with Norman spirit and a touch of je ne sais quoi . For me, it's a 4 Clare . To make matters worse, the soundtrack was made by Yann Tiersen French, what more could you want?
