Nicotine Lozenges Hurts Mouth

And today I wanted to come back with more movies. More of the Same? No, I changed my mind. The players of today are the White Stripes inspiring.

began as hubby happy, Meg and Jack White, back in the late explosive 90. With a sound closer to punk-rock and blues touches. With the release of the Strokes, were strings of beads in label "garage rock" , but the Stripes exceed all labels. In his music I found rock, blues, punk, folk, psych ... And only two people. Sure, we note that multi-instrumentalist Jack is , and can replace all the shortcomings of Meg.

Anyway, these two men managed to get a place of honor in today's music. Jack White is one of the superheroes the moment and it is nominated for one of the best guitarists of the decade.

The characteristic sound is the guitar quasi-talking " of Jack and his voice crazy and a battery that came with the fair. They also give rise to the piano, organ, ukulele, bells, bongos, etc. But always the idea is minimal: a rhythmic base playing the guitar in the foreground.

And I can not forget the image, because for them everything. The aesthetic respect of them is white and red . Sometimes also incorporate black. All the tops of their cd's include these colors and they always choose to wear these colors, like a "Dress code" . In the videos and live performances is not lacking in the red & white.

Videos. Essential. They have an enviable videography. Very few artists have most of their videos as "very good" or "excellent" . They are part of this select group together on the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Bjork, Chemical Brothers ... I'll let some of the ones I like to sample d elo say.

I'll let the cd's of them to come down and see for yourself.

"White Stripes"
This album has a raw sound , just beginning. Jack shouted over and wanted to put all in one song alone. Cd is good, but basic louder.

"De Stijl"
In 2000 came the cd that refers to a Dutch art style. The title means "style" is understandable, because Jack is quite steep style, pun intended.
Personally, this is one of the cd's that I like them. It has everything I expect from the WS: rock, folk, fun, languid guitar solos. I love it.

White blood cells
Year 2001. Music Revolution courtesy of The Strokes. The Stripes take this cd that reaffirms in style: WS style. I adore this album, I like to end. Continues with these cheerful rhythms ("Hotel Yorba"), the guitar torn ("Aluminum"), rock blusesco ("Offend in Every Way") and those trademark riffs White. Another feature is the letters, they remind me of Frank Zappa . Sometimes they make a trip delirium, as in "I think i smell a rat" among others. There's a song that takes after Jack Johnson , called "We're going to be friends" she is beautiful, very tender little ones. And there's another song that will serve to cover, in this case, Joss Stone, which is the electrifying "Fell in love with a girl."

Disco Elephant
definitely made them a place in the massive . With ultraconocida "Seven Nations Army", as the flag, the White Stripes managed to get up in unexpected places, such as electronics and their families. There is a song sung by Meg ... pretty boring lol. More videos from the hand of Michel Gondry , which lead to stardom. Now the same sound will always be heard by more people: big success. It is very nice disk, I I began to hear from here and then I did the regression. I run because I can listen to me brings back many memories. Cuesta choose favorites, but I think "You've got her in your pocket" and "I Just Do not Know What to do with myself" (with video starring Kate Moss ) are worthy representatives.

Get behind me, Satan
In 2005, the WS took this record, taking the audience conquered and eating in the palm of your hand. While it was quite similar to what we were used, relied more on side of blues, folk and country, giving a new image the band. Most of the songs are calm down and no fright. Iguamente, seal is retained and no shortage of classics like "Blue Orchid", "Little Ghost" and "Red Rain." Increases the occurrence of various instruments , as the triangle, cymbals, bells and ukulele.

Icky Thump was released in 2007 this yields, with more intentions sell itself, which give a sample of White style. Stressed much the lyrics of "Icky Thump" because it came in times of apartheid style wall, and Jack is dispatched singing
"Well, Americans: What, nothin 'Better To Do? Why do not you kick yourself out? 're an immigrant too. Who's usin 'who? What Should We Do? Well You Can not Be a pimp And a prostitute too "

Beyond that (and in this song Jack continues to make his guitar talk ), the cd is not my favorite. Have done things better.

Now is the time of the videos. I'll put a couple because I'm tired of writing: P.

"Fell in love with a girl" directed by French magic Michel Gondry , this video should be the best ever . The Stripes portrayed in the Lego world. I'm impressed by how faithful to the movements that are ... It's incredible.

"I Just Do not Know What to do with myself" Directed by Sofia Coppola and starring model Kate Moss , this video is a strange game between monotony, perversion and innocence. At least as I see it. White Pearl .

"The hardest button to button " Again directed by Gondry, the Whites are immersed in the repetition and challenge the senses and memory. All this with a great song playing in the background. I leave aside" Seven Nations Army "because they have a style like this video.

"Icky Thump" Directed by The Malloys and Jack White, tells the story of this character is slammed into Mexico without knowing how he . So there becomes critical and blah blah blah ... I told you

Well, that was it. One of the best bands of the decade, with the disappointment that came in the late 90 ... Undoubtedly sooooo influential bands and soloists, porqeu very complete.
In vivo, the most. I could not go to see when vinierom (another one and go ...) but I know the breaks in vivo.

Until the next.
